Messy mind or empowered mind
Change is not easy, because it takes the individual who desires change to become a participant in the change. You can expect a fight within yourself, but the fact that you make one decision to stand single minded and not double makes the difference. Remind yourself that things do not happen simply because we think them up, but our thoughts do have the power to begin to drive us to connect with the change long before we see the manifestation of the changes we desire. The key is being persistent to think on things that are good and lovely as Paul teaches, Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Philippians 4:8
Totally different from our normal thinking which could be combative, blame oriented, and even destructive. See there is a struggle going on in the mind, one part tells us all is well, you love the Lord, your a good person and the other part is always searching for trouble, judging people, jealous of others, telling you your no good, or you will never make it, it even talks about your family and friends to you. This is all to keep us divided in thinking which also keeps the manifestations in our lives limited. We see little changes because our thoughts are confused rather than fixed on one type of thinking as Paul speaks of in Philippian 4:8. The blessing is we can forgive ourselves and start over thinking on lovely and pure things that the desire changes in our lives will come through lining up with Gods plans for our lives!
