Luke 11:14-23
14 And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled. 15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”
16 Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven. 17 But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation,( countries and land as we see happening) and a house divided against a house falls. Jesus refers to a house being the temple, which is mans body. The homes we are blessed to live in yet we allow satan to rule as master by allowing continuos strife to reside. The other representation of the body is the Church, where healing and deliverance is to take place.
18 Jesus went on to say, If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub. 19 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. 22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.23 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
Anyone who has experienced seeming loses can attest to the working of our former days as children of darkness and the appointed time arrived when we found something stronger seemed to come dominating our homes, finances, our minds, loved ones and children bringing us to our knees. Jesus is simply saying when we are not fortified with the grace of God, prayer, and the desire for truth our spirit man grows weak and something stronger will come to test our foundation. If our foundation is not found strong in Christ the satanic powers that would be will over throw the Kingdom, homes, people, and churches it came to subdue.
The thing about Christ is He gave us the word (Bible) to stand firm on, we have the tools when we look to the methods Christ use. No other word stands strong against principalities. As Christians we have been given authority to bind and loose the enemy, which is what Jesus spoke with and touched with when delivering the mute in this scripture. To take back whatever we are hoping for our prayers are to be directed toward the spirt realm. No conversation nor argument concerning the issue will bring freedom, only Jesus Christ and His word can set the captives free. God sent Jesus to be a world changer concerning what the world is experiencing. Let’s come together praying taken back what God gave us never allowing the enemy to rule any portion of our lives!
