“The Transfiguration”
“After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.”
Matthew 17:1-3 NIV
Here at this moment Jesus goes up the mountain to meet Moses & Elijah. Moses the giver of the law from God was present here so the law could be fulfilled with Jesus. The people were still confused at that time about what was given. Elijah the prophet spoke the word of God to the Kings during his time. His presence was also needed because Jesus was speaking the word of God. The things that have already come to past and the things that were going to past. I find the transfiguration such a powerful moment as Christ is alive inside each and everyone of us that fulfilling moment as well. The trinity affect “you can not know the father without knowing the son” this world will pass away but his word shall live forever in us. We live many different ways but how many of us are actually living through the teaching and word of God that was given to us so freely? Actually how many of us are living period?! With all that is inside of you let’s all start to live today!
