Don’t let me down

Don’t let me down
**I simply must address this infectious hit with it’s addictive yet capturing beat. Completely lures you in and unveils the emotional ups and downs of couples but I simply must put a spin on it. Generally speaking when I hear music these days regardless of what Genre.

 of music it almost always relates and connects with me spiritually first. Case and point why I always have to go back to the youngsters and ask questions regarding the most current slang terms.
Crashing, hit a wall
**Perfect right where God wants us and he has our attention**
Romans 8:28

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his

purpose.

Luke 11:9New International Version (NIV)

9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Right now I need a miracle

Hurry up now, I need a miracle
**It’s amazing when we rush God and we need him to hurry at our aid. He’s always on time when we can’t see our way out. I’ve been in situations and felt trapped like my oxygen supply was escaping me and in the midnight hour!! He turns it around. I’ve been blessed to witness an over abundance of miracles that have left me speechless at times yet demonstrating the true power of God.
Psalm 77:14New International Version (NIV)

14 You are the God who performs miracles;

    you display your power among the peoples.
Romans 10:17New International Version (NIV)

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Stranded, reaching out

I call your name but you’re not around

I say your name but you’re not around

I need you, I need you, I need you right now

Yeah, I need you right now
**This part is so profound because again when all resources are gone, people left, and distractions and it’s just you and GOD. Face to face. Becareful he’s watching you. You start to reach out because you realize you have nothing left, nothing else to pull from, no tricks up your sleeves, your cell phone is broken or it’s been shut off, you run to someone’s house for help and they are not home. You find yourself in a desert or a forest alone. At least you think your alone. You call out finally to God but you don’t see him, You call again you don’t feel him. And with all transparency and vulnerability you finally surrender and say… I need you Father RIGHT NOW!!! GOD ARRIVES
**I feel this is the MOST powerful part of the song and it connects with every part of my being through the flashbacks and the journey’s that I’ve overcome, The tests that I passed, the reshaping and remold ing of who I am now compared to who I was then.
Exodus 14:10-11New International Version (NIV)

10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
Romans 10:13New International Version (NIV)

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
So don’t let me, don’t let me, don’t let me down

I think I’m losing my mind now

It’s in my head, darling I hope

That you’ll be here, when I need you the most

So don’t let me, don’t let me, don’t let me down

D-Don’t let me down
**Our biggest setback with allowing God to do a great thing in our lives is are ability to release control due to fear and disappointment. We are afraid of being let down and the inability for the EGO to repair itself. God designed these moments of vulnerability to exhibit how he’s sovereign. We fear if anyone will be around during these times. A stability factor that makes us think we need something or someone outside of God.
Proverbs 3:5-6New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart

    and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways submit to him,

    and he will make your paths straight.[a]
Deuteronomy 31:6New International Version (NIV)

6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Running out of time

I really thought you were on my side

But now there’s nobody by my side
**We always are of the mindset that we are running out of time not realizing who has the power to rise the sun and set the moon daily. Yet we are frantic feeling like we are running out time. God’s timing is perfect. You could feel as if the walls are closing in on you but for God that’s only a split second. For you it may feel like an eternity. In a blink it’s gone! The problem is solved and you find yourself wondering how you just survived the miracle. He was right by your side and he didn’t let you down.
Habakkuk 2:3New International Version (NIV)

3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;

    it speaks of the end

    and will not prove false.

Though it linger, wait for it;

    it[a] will certainly come

    and will not delay.
Isaiah 41:10New International Version (NIV)

10 So do not fear, for I am with you;

    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
**God has granted me many miracles and my life exemplifies living proof of that. He won’t let you down!!
