Baring one another’s burdens

Keeping Each Other Lifted
Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

I was speaking with a friend recently who had been going through many trials with her teenage daughter. I could hear the pain and weariness in her voice, like she was on the brink of throwing in the towel. From the outside looking in, you’d never know that she was dealing with something so heavy. We won’t always know what the person next to us is going through or battling. So let us keep our brothers and sisters uplifted and encouraged so that they do not grow weary. We are “keepers” of each other, not limited to family and friends.
Galatians 6:2

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

1 Corinthians 14:26

What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!
