Good Morning!
I believe I’ve told you all about a friend that I have who is struggling in her faith. We’ve respectfully gone back and forth over the last few months on this subject and for every question and circumstance, I gave her answers but it didn’t seem to be enough. Finally, I became candid and gave her a scenario of my own.
How about this: Do you see how people are dying suddenly & unexpectedly, left and right? Actors, singers, people who are young and old, some that we actually know or were very close to us? We are not guaranteed tomorrow…if I were you, I’d rather be safe than sorry. Safe in the knowledge that if I believe in God, I will have life after death and I will see my loved ones & children again, when I or they leave this life. I’d hate to be sorry and find out AFTER I die, that there is a God & everything I was told was true. I’d hate to be in the sorry category, because once you leave here its too late. You make the decision before you go. What do you have to lose by believing? If we’re (believers) wrong then you lose nothing…but if we’re right, then you lose everything promised to those who believe.
