21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you … However it is not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Clear conscience comes through cleansing of water, which is demonstrated through baptism. The baptism is and outward demonstration of what is to come within.
What this means clearly is that man is baptized by being emerged in water, but the actual work must take place within that man. Mans consciousness should receive the baptism and spiritually transform his inner being cleansing and releasing him from bondage and sin.
What do you say about this? And why have so many people been baptized but remain the same?
