I can Identify with Abraham regarding the sacrifice of his only begotten son. My children in the past got involved with the wrong people . I would learn to pray through the dynamics of situations we endured. I remember never missing a day of work, but being so weak and fatigued from the process I was going through that I had to take Ibuprophen to get functioning in the morning.
However, relating back to my children, I was a single parent at the time…I remember mornings when I had to stay in the showers for periods of time crying on my knees for God to save my sons. One day I was there on my knees and I saw the picture of Abraham walking up the mountain with Isaac, the Spirit of the Lord began to tell me, see just as there was a Ram in the bush for Isaac there is a ram in the bush for your children.
There is a sacrificial lamb and my children were called to lead. That leadership in them would cause them to go through sacrifices as well as learning to serve.
Then the Lord reminded me that He allowed me to carry these children in my womb laying in the utter most of His spirit within me. He said, do you not remember the Kingdom of God is within you? I said wow! Thank you, Lord. The spirit asked me, “why would I doubt His ability to save my them when He loves my children more than I could ever love them?” the situation gave me something to consider, which is what we need . We need to become provoked to think beyond our situations, so that we can look for the victories! (Location 465-466, P54)[1]. Trust God for your victory, we experienced many turns, but God remained true to His word!
2 Corinthian 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight. Without faith it is hard to please God.
