Integrity and word check
I have experience integrity checks like Amy Carmichael and Carlton Booth. The integrity check like Carlton Booth happened just this week. I had a situation on my job where it seemed I was being accused of not fulfilling my work.
While I have integrity to fulfill my commitment to my position i discussed this with the director and things went well. However I left the office and was convicted of something the spirit showed me I was in error of. Boy was I convicted I begin to say how could you preach to the choir and not see yourself ? I begin repenting with fear and trembling. I also thanked God because I could see deception and pride being the culprits within me blocking my blessings and holding me up from the next level (Location 479, P58)[2]. This was a great lesson, because I felt like I have been stuck for years.
I teach about looking at the man in the mirror, but the teaching wasn’t going over well with me, because there were truths I did not want to embrace regarding myself. I talked with a therapist friend about it and he said, we are the best teachers we can have in life and the best student when we adhere to the lessons and become accountable. Proverbs 20:7 – The just [man] walketh in his integrity: his children [are] blessed after him. Proverbs 12:22 – Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly [are] his delight.
