For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Paul explains the body (you and your organs) are individual in Christ, which is committed to Christ more importantly than the corporate fellowship with the physical church building. This an important fact to receive and understand, because many are attached to church and synagogue buildings not realizing their fulfillment is within themselves within. Look at what Jesus says to the Pharisees( religious and governmental rulers) regarding the kingdom and where it resides.
Luke 17:20-21King James Version (KJV)
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
