A Letter to God

A letter to God…

Dear God at times I do not know my right from left…
There are times when I do not know whether to sit or to stand. My mind is filled with thoughts of righteousness yet I have thoughts that produce wrong. Confusion and depression tires to take its toll on me. Anxiety and frustration becomes my postulation, yet these feelings are forbidden in your premises. I pray and fast fighting in the spirit, still leaving pray feeling heavy and dismayed. Beyond all these feelings there is one thing, which remains the same, my soul is anchored in you.
I hear the word of the Lord weighing it carefully. I am zealous concerning things you say regarding my life, because I truly believe your words bring life.
James says, faith without works is dead. However, questions plague my mind… What about the faithful ones who have kept the commands and kept the faith? Will you show them mercy? Will Grace stand up and show its self in the mist of obscure circumstances for the faithful? I believe the answer is yes. This is why I continue to press. I press toward the High Calling in Christ as Paul describes.
I press in, because you have never failed me nor have you let me down. You have been faithful to me all my life! You were faithful to me when I had know understanding of you and the word faithful! Lord your faithfulness taught me how to walk faithful regarding your word and the spirit of life.
Yea though My enemies seek to slay me I will trust in you Almighty! My eyes are fixed on you! Touch my heart! Touch my mind! Touch my ears! Touch my life and make me whole! I surrender all!
You are my sustainer!
You are my rock!
You are omnipotent, Omniscience, Omnipresence, Everlasting, Elohim, El Shaddai, El Gabor, Elyon, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha,
Your awesome!
Your wonderful!
You are my peace!
You are my Joy!
You are my everything! I thank you, I praise you, I give you all the Glory!

Prayer for deliverance

Psalm 70King James Version (KJV)

70 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.

Blessings come

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
When we conform to this world, we transform to this world and its understanding. However, we are getting away from the original plan and God’s will and his intent for us in this world. For everything God has was intended for good. In Ezekiel 36:26 tells us “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” We have been programmed to follow the way of the world which gives us stony hearts. A heart that is weighed down but let the lord re-new you with a new heart. Let the past be washed away. If you keep pain, hurt and disappointments you could very well miss the blessing in that lesson presents. Being renewed with his Holy Spirit will fulfill those area’s of emptiness and will soften the heart so that you may live as he intended for you in this world. 😍 I love you all God

Nemesis

1 Kings 19:2Words to discourage the plan God has for you….

Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow.” She was speaking of the prophets big Baal…

The devil knows our weakness, and will use it or them if we don’t pay attention to the lessons that come to reveal our weakness. Elijah was afraid of Jezebel because she had shown power killing all his prophets but those that had been hidden by Obadiah… There were some other inner issues as well that brought Elijah and Jezebel together also.

1 Kings 19:3

Then he was afraid, and he arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
Elijah still demonstrating fear after all the prophets of Baal he overcame… Elijah prayed the fire of God down, laughed and mocked the prophets of Baal. But when you get to the 19 the chapter Jezebel finds out and send a threat wrapped with fear and he runs for his life again into the wilderness… What do you think about Elijah ladies and gentlemen? Major prophet fears the representative of the anti Christ?

Think about how fear comes to stop you, paralyze or even put you back in your past.

Have a blessed day!

Love & Forgiveness “Yomik Talks”

Yomik

Unforgiveness is like standing in Quicksand

Good morning, Awaking to look for a word from God can cause reflection.Searching for the word as if there is no light to read the word imagine that. But imagine even more someone stuck in a pond of quicksand …. By the way this quicksand is unforgiving. Yes… When you visualize the picture you can see the person immovable, simply stuck in old ways, generational bondage, issues in family, lack and sickness etc.Well that’s what I saw as I saw pictures of our unforgiveness. Quicksand will not release a person… It consumes them until they’ve sank into and abyss. But even so at times standing in this place with time to repent and let go of the issues the individual does not want to let go because they feel the way they think or approach things are right. Realization that this unforgiveness and I want to call it quicksand now is the reason we’re stuck in the same place we were five years ago or twenty years ago baring no fruit has not come to awaken the mind of the person even though where they are standing mentally is taking them to their demise. It is not hurting the person were angry with or have and ought with we must remember, quicksand or unforgiveness is holding us. Well I want to say wouldn’t you rather Jesus embrace you? His hold, hug  and embrace is so much more statisfying!

I just want to say, it feels good to know you have freedom in Christ to let go and move forward from any bondage, because that’s Christ love toward us! It is liberating to wake up and hear or see God telling you remember when you use to hold people in contempt, not realizing you were hurting yourself? Living in quicksand or living in God is the lesson for today when we look around seeing news of killings as it is. People are angry because of quicksand having held them back from what they desire. We must look at our selves as the gun men, step into another’s shoes to evaluate our thoughts today on how we can change and affect others we work with daily in transformation .

Psalm 86:4-5 Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

The temple of God

The temple is our bodies…
1Peter 2:15 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message–which is also what they were destined for.

Teens and children from 6-13 in class yesterday begin to talk about the riot in Baltimore. The discussion came up due to one young mans description of anger and frustration. We discussed the fruit of the spirit to compare the difference between flesh and spiritual characteristics. The amazing thing is these kids expressed sorrow for the young man who lost his life, while at the same time explaining the actions of the people looting and violating the businesses to be wrong.

While we know that Jesus loves and forgives us all its a need to address anger, hate, violence, frustration, and the hole scripture of Galatians 5:19, which identifies the callus and stony heart of humans that need transforming to save our children and families.

Without the knowledge of sacrificing error characteristics and feelings putting them on the alter for Gods consuming power to cleanse we suffer losing the spiritual advantages we have been given in life. The sacrifice of a stone is in its process. Stones are hard and in order for them to show forth their true beauty they must go through intense fire and pressure treatment. Without the fire and stress the diamond would remain as it was found, hiding it’s true value. But God has not lost sight of us. He’s always waiting for us to realize the nature of our value. As Peter says, we are stones being transformed into Holy temples. At the appointed time as Solomon prayed and the Glory of God entered the building Solomon built, which was the Church of the Old Testament. So will God arise and all His glory move filling our lives, as living epistles of God, as Jesus exclaimed I and my Father are One! Amen

Wise men win souls!

Blessings!

Moses Kills

“One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor”. “He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew slave, one of his own people; looking to his left and right; seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand”. Exodus 2:11-12

Moses, one of our greatest leaders in the bible was awakened to his true identity when he committed the murder of an Egyptian. Reminding all that murder is a sin and there is a price to pay where sin abounds. We can commit murder with our mouths by gossiping, slandering others character as well as killing with our hands. Our intention in this writing is to show those who read, that a leader such as Moses had real life issues the same as everyone else.  Moses was accountable for his actions; an important characteristic in life. There was no devil involved which is what many people claim victim to, and immediately place blame on. Moses felt compelled to stand up for his fellow Hebrew brothers and sisters, kind of like what’s happen in Baltimore, Maryland and Ferguson, Missouri.

However many times we struggle with choices in life when the odds are presented in our lives, I must say that if you have been dealt an odd hand, this means you have been equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome all odds.  While many are born in environments of corruption, and spiritual forces of darkness begin to plant seeds in our minds to conspire to be led by drug sells, gang violence, material gain, louting, and disrespect towards our parents. Stealing, killing, and the failure to understand God’s creation of the Ten Commandments (principles for successful living) is still not relevant in our lives.

We all know that murder is against the law today and is considered a sin, reflecting on the murder committed by Moses, was the one that the Father birthed when He created the commandments. To overcome the mindset that drives a man or woman to commit an offense against the word of God is #1, their lack of connection with God’s righteousness. Being connected to God is like a girl or boy who falls in love, or love at first sight, the type of love that is unconditional.  Deuteronomy 5, which is what the Ten Commandments tell us. The key is recognizing the emotions that lead us to hurt others or to compromise them. When we understand what we are doing to one another, along with feeling the pain that we have sown, we often find that we have choices presented to us for change.

Like Moses in the wilderness, I am sure through numerous encounters while running for his life; he may have experienced fear like the Egyptian he killed experienced at the time of death. What is at the root of murder? A mixture of emotions such as rage, anger, disparity, bondage, lack, and confusion; these emotions are manifested causing one to commit the act of murder and other heinous crimes.

Rage and anger, in addition to the other emotions mentioned above have a way of funneling up when entertained to long. These emotions are called from the dark side of man which instigates and stimulates unlawful circumstances and violence. Our position is to recognize the power of choice within ourselves, which means think before reacting in any situation.  Our other choice is responsible acts towards life. Thirdly, we must truly ask ourselves “what would Jesus do”?

When we look at Moses’ life, he was not poor in his earlier life, and he definitely was not poor when he came into his latter years. Moses was created with poise and excellence that directed him to understand, later on in the story that he was created as God’s ‘handyman’.  He was to be a vessel honoring the work of God.

The analogy of this story is simply for those who read this to understand within you; there is greatness.  God has not created one person greater than the other. What makes the difference in life are the choices and decisions we make. Young people; if we choose to follow gang members we will fail. Grown-ups in adulterous situations; rather than keeping the covenant, again, we will fail every time. Along with keeping the covenant, if a person has not received Jesus Christ, they will find themselves as the children of Israel ‘wandering in the wilderness as a lost soul.

Moses put the covenant into effect, but Jesus Christ is the breath of life that makes the covenant of God awaken in our hearts and souls. If you are not saved today, go to Romans 10:9-10 and read the words that give you the confession of Christ, and we will celebrate you, having become a new sister or brother in Christ. The press is on!!!

In the world you WILL have trials and tribulations, but, the Lord says to be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Isn’t it wonderful to know that we can have confidence in a God that He has His sympathetic and empathetic eye on us? So much so that God sent His son to endure and overcome EVERYTHING that we are to face in the world!

Paul tells us in Romans 8:32 that God spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He WITH HIM ALSO freely give us all things? He’s given us the remedy for endurance in this wine press we call life! There can be no fine wine without the process of the wine press. In order to extract the goodness of the grape a process called pressing is implemented, and the great part is this: it gets better with time! That’s right! Fermentation is synonymous with adversity! Like any fine wine we are to get better with age! The longer you endure, the better you are!

Someone said that adversity builds character, but may I submit to you that adversity, like the wine press and the process of fermentation, doesn’t build character alone but also EXPOSES what we lack thereof! Time plus endurance makes us better, so that WE may be poured out as a drink offering to glorify God as a testimony of His loving kindness toward us!

Saints lets allow God to be God in our lives, and never fail to tell others “Please drink responsibly!” And last but not least remember, family…The Press is On!

… blessings Y’all!!
