Adult dares to adventure life from the brave side!

Adventure

When I was a child I loved movies like Indiana Jones, The Explorers, The Goonies, Pretty much any action based adventure. The adventure allows you to utilize so many skills that we take neglect to exercise spiritually. You have the treasure hunts, the unsolved mysteries, The careful eye to watch for booby traps and danger. Generally the start of any adventure is if the individual can overcome fear and embrace the inner strength they never knew they had. I love how the pieces to the puzzles come together and the adventure was based on destiny and divine timing. Of course it appears that children are very brave. Willing to risk it all no questions asked. Fearless and eager to go on any adventurous voyage. We lose this for some reason when we get older. We are no longer searching for life’s clues and the adventures with twists and turns that we once admired as children. The treasures of God are of no value to us as we are hoping someone else can lead the voyage for us. Quite frankly we want the end result and the end result only. I guess this is why I’m known to be extremely difficult at times. I look forward to the clues, the voyages in the unknown. While I admit we all have times when we reflect on being a child we also have the ability to recall all of the adventurous God has led us out of victorious. Remember the beauty when you didn’t need to know everything and you could just go with it? The difference between a child’s heart and a adult heart is the willingness and receptive attributes. I believe as adults we can be subconsciously blockers to other and ourselves. Get the adventure back into your heart. Be daring to take on the journey that God has set before you. Remember the bravery and the importance of overcoming situations through christ that you didn’t think you could overcome. Dare to be adventurous and courageous.

Psalm 27:14King James Version (KJV)

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5–6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

Know your strengths

Strength-
When we think of Strength we never give thought to what we have to go through to build it. It’s amazing that we as human beings view ourselves at times of adversity as weak and unable to handle the transgressions that come our way. This spiritual transformation is on that I marvel at. It’s the very core of how God exemplifies his power to and through us. This is the one stable factor in our lives that we have and we get renewed strength. It’s as if he knew we would need renewed mercies and strength which tie into one another. It takes courage to face what you’ve done, look it square in the eye, resolve it and thank God for the grace that you were able to get through it. Have you faced anything today that you thought was simply unbearable? Have you not been able to look at yourself in the mirror or come to terms with what you are walking through or have walked through? Consider the strength of the eagle, its genetic makeup. Our creator himself was aware that we could get exhausted with daily obstacles that come our way. Thank God for the renewal of his strength that comes from waiting on the Lord.
Isaiah 40:28-31English Standard Version (ESV)
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

    the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He does not faint or grow weary;

    his understanding is unsearchable.

29 He gives power to the faint,

    and to him who has no might he increases strength.

30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,

    and young men shall fall exhausted;

31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;

    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

    they shall walk and not faint.

Where you are I am there!

Good morning to the world!!!I must say God is so good he woke each of us up this morning with mercies renewed.

The real deal at hand is the issues we deal with to day. The issue may be in our home, marriage, family, children, work related, or world related. Maybe you feel the enemy has consorted to track and attack you, and if he did its okay because just as he is tracking you or hunting you God has given you somethings to turn around and blow your enemies mind.

I had a dream that blessed my soul and I know this will bless you. I was in a house with my father, and I looked out the window and young men with guns surrounded the house. I said dad, there are guys with guns surrounding the house. Dad said nothing absolutely nothing, so I ran to look for shelter as most humans would think to do. As I looked to find a place of safety, I went into one of the bedrooms, and as I entered I looked out the window in the bedroom making direct eye contact with one of the gun men. A young kid appeared in the backyard and started fighting for my defense, I could hear him speaking on my behalf, so I hid under the bed. I thought as I was there only God can save me, these people have guns. Jesus I need a miracle! In the dream the Holy Ghost begin to exalt the gift of tongues through me.

The guy came in and began to shoot at me, I had no weapon of defense, all my life was in the balance of God saving me again as God does over and over again. Well I saw the bullets coming at me in slow motion, but I begin to see the gun turn on the gun man and the bullets returned back to the sender.

My feelings of gratitude concerning this dream is so over whelming I cant write it all. I thank God it was a message for not only me, but those who the enemy has been tormenting and tracking, letting us know that our victory is at hand through our continuous prayer, devotion, and faith.

I woke up out of the dream and was led to read Joshua 1.

In Joshua 1 I read about every thing that God gave Moses and transferred to Joshua, but my soul leaped when I read these words ” No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.

The gift of the Holy spirit is just that, it is a gift! It saved my life also letting me know that it was my weapon of defense. It reassured me again no matter where I go and what I walk through God is with me. Its not that I didn’t know this, I needed to be reminded that when the enemy came to seek still, destroy, and kill, Jesus came with His abundant life. The abundant life rebuked the enemy, that abundance is the Holy Spirit moving on our behalf. The abundance in Jesus spoke and declared over our lives, “every enemy must fall under the subjection of God, every mountain must be leveled, anything the enemy sends toward us falls to the ground and it is broken and bond today in Jesus name!

Amen!

Glory to God!

Come into agreement

Come into agreement with your power and authority.Your gift is given to open minds and hearts to experience higher territory. Your guidance is expedient to declare blessings and victory. Speak out boldly with courage and confidence binding any other authority! Speak and declare our Fathers word of order over His children all over the world, He delights that they walk the straight and narrow looking to heaven less the crooked path and its destruction.

It’s all about the season that’s upon us it’s coming, let’s practice speaking the the words given to break the bands of the wicked that persistently try to rule invisibly through the air!

Amen in Jesus name!

Luke 10:19

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Iam trusting God week!

Iam trusting God for whatever voids need to be filled in our lives. Simple scriptures

From Genesis 15:5-10

Show us how God blessed Abraham, who held fast to faith, but also trusting in every quaking moment that life shows rejection and denial that we are able to over come our vices.

5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

7 And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

8 And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

God is our ADT Security! Trusting and alarm system to protect us or the car we drive to get us from point A to point B, but the deeper revelation is in God we trust, because He gave the thoughts to create these inventions for our convenience.

Trust God with your prayers, provisions if your a tither, and your vision.

Arise!

Arise, shine, and give Glory to God for He is the light that sparks in our darkest hour. He is the strength and life force of all living being. He gives power to the weak and healing to the sick. He is food to the hungry and a friend to the friendless. He is a bridge our trouble waters. God is a wonder to the soul. So be of good courage for God is faithful to the faithful! In Jesus name! Amen

Shyness and introversion (By: Laurentina Watkins)

I grew up as a very, painfully shy child. I never had the nerve to speak up for myself. But the strange fact is I would speak up for someone else being mistreated or teased but never had the courage to do the same for my self.
I am the second oldest of my mother’s children and the oldest girl. This position in itself you would think would have given me all i needed to be an extrovert. But did not .
My mother tried her best to get me out of my self, first enrolling me in Brownie Scouts ( yes they existed even back then) buying a piano and sending me for lessons , to which my end results are ” I can’t play dead”.
But when I look back at my reaction to how people treated me when they realized that I was shy, it really amaze me.
Every two weeks my mother would send me to have my hair done at a local hair stylist (then beauty shop) I went to the same lady each time. I begin to realize each week the water would get hotter and hotter ( now I am a fan of hot water) until it got so hot that I finally had to tell her it was too hot, now her hands were in the same water so I realize that she was feeling the heat but was seeing how long it would take me to say uncle because I would not talk.

black child
As a young person I have experienced this on many levels but mostly from my own people.
Because I have always carried myself in a way that showed I had respect for who and what I was, most people outside of my community thought and still do that I am an educator. Most of the people I met in the business world after I turn 21 gave me respect because I gave it to them first.
I think it was in my latter thirties before I really came out of the “I am an introvert” closet but when I did I did it with force.
I now let people know that you can not talk to me or treat me any other way then that which I treat you, I expect respect because I always bring respect. I don’t rise my voice if this is not the case, I simply state facts.
The funniest thing to me is that people who know me now find it impossible to believe that I was ever shy. When I first met people I may sit back and observe, feel them out to see if this is someone I want to include in my life. After 2 or 3 conversation I can tell if it is a go or no unless this person has the best acting skills I have ever seen and in that case when the truth person come out you either drop them like a hot potato or ease out of the relationship. My children, family, friends, acquaintances, church members, know that I will stand up and speak up for what I believe in. I treat people as I expect to be treated. I may be stern at times, goofy, a bit louder than  necessary ( I can’t whisper), forget to do something, stubborn, cranky (I try to keep my crazy at my house) or as my daughter in law says “do everything as if it’s my last day (and it very well could be).
At this point, my life is great, my God is greater. I don’t have a large house, a luxury car, a doctorate degree but I am happy. I have a family whom I love and love me, grand children whom are the loves of my life, a husband who I love and who lets me live my life to the fullest, friends who I share good times with, a church I am at peace in, a pastor I adore (he is like my 4th son) and just all around “I am blessed.
I started this on one subject and ended on another to make the point that it does not matter how you start out in life if you make a conscious effort you can change this to be the person you wish to be. Strive for the best you possible. I came out of the closet (introvert closet) and came out with a vengeance. Just saying!
