Kill Joys… Do you have them?

God bless you and good morning, David a man of valor sought God for everything. Many times reading the psalms you could hear the hurt, pain, torment and disarray he expressed concerning his adversaries. But the same is true that as David began to lift his thoughts and voice to God that the joy of his salvation would return, because he pressed his way to think about God and good, rather than park his mind at the situations he dealt with.

 I remember a guy that would come to Magic touch , which was one of the former beauty salons I owned in Jax., fl. telling me don’t let the joy killers, joy stealers, haters and naysayers have their way in your life. He said people are programmed for jealousy and envy by this dark world and genealogical make up , meaning the flesh. Until they really get a touch or get knocked down by God they think like THEY want because pride has deception whispering in their ear. He said, Kim Joy belongs to you! God gave it to each us. So when the enemy comes in give him or her something to really think about.

I saw through that conversation one man or woman could make or break a person with the darkness in them. Wow! But because of Jesus giving access to joy it would be up to me whether I would allow anyone to steal from me again. So this is how Joy becomes your closes friend. Joy will work when you begin to work with joy. Stir up and encourage your self with words that affirm who you are not the enemies opinion. Stir up the gift of joy by celebrating you, then you will see Joy demonstrate its truth. Joy will show you that it really is your salvation and strength because you will have forgotten and forgiven the hurt, pain, haters, naysayers, and dis-appointments. It’s all a matter of choice concerning who and what you want to pay attentions to.

The child that loves God rejoices as the scripture says in what is to come not in what he or she’s sees neither is it in what we feel for feelings are like the wind changing. Therefore the feelings received through misunderstanding can change because of our awareness concerning our feeling nature and the Joy we accept from Christ.

The scripture says the fig tree does not bud

and there are no grapes on the vines,

though the olive crop fails

and the fields produce no food,

though there are no sheep in the pen

and no cattle in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the Lord,

I will be joyful in God my Savior.

House Hold of Faith

I began to ponder the value of family this morning and Gods core purpose for everyone of us. Many different emotions came flooding in. Some positive and some negative emotions. As I began to think further I heard The words House Hold of Faith. I then began to experience excitement because the household of faith are the physical resources, such as the Church, community developments, evangelism, and individuals that God has provided for us to receive from spiritually, physically and mentally when going through times of awakening to truth, enlightenment, as well as times of spiritual uplifting. It is not that we do not need our physical families in these times, but if our families are not of the household of faith and grounded in the word of God who will be the resource used to help us further our journey spiritually or even began our journey in Christ? Who as well will be the ones to lead our families if they our families have never been introduced to Christ?
Galatians 6:10 says, Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

We are here to bless, pillar, and hold up the arms of those of the household of faith as Ambassadors for God, in kind we are to give the Good News to those who have not found their way to Christ. No matter what goes on in our lives as believers we are not to forget that Isaiah 61 says, The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me ( The Lord is with us), because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives. Thus by continuously proclaiming the word of the Lord the Household of Faith continuously aides in freeing more souls showing God has a greater way than the life of our former. We continue to assemble in prayer, at Church, in communities affairs, in the highways and byways remembering that wise men win souls and this is the Goal of our Father. Thank God forever Amen!

Moses Kills

“One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor”. “He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew slave, one of his own people; looking to his left and right; seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand”. Exodus 2:11-12

Moses, one of our greatest leaders in the bible was awakened to his true identity when he committed the murder of an Egyptian. Reminding all that murder is a sin and there is a price to pay where sin abounds. We can commit murder with our mouths by gossiping, slandering others character as well as killing with our hands. Our intention in this writing is to show those who read, that a leader such as Moses had real life issues the same as everyone else.  Moses was accountable for his actions; an important characteristic in life. There was no devil involved which is what many people claim victim to, and immediately place blame on. Moses felt compelled to stand up for his fellow Hebrew brothers and sisters, kind of like what’s happen in Baltimore, Maryland and Ferguson, Missouri.

However many times we struggle with choices in life when the odds are presented in our lives, I must say that if you have been dealt an odd hand, this means you have been equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome all odds.  While many are born in environments of corruption, and spiritual forces of darkness begin to plant seeds in our minds to conspire to be led by drug sells, gang violence, material gain, louting, and disrespect towards our parents. Stealing, killing, and the failure to understand God’s creation of the Ten Commandments (principles for successful living) is still not relevant in our lives.

We all know that murder is against the law today and is considered a sin, reflecting on the murder committed by Moses, was the one that the Father birthed when He created the commandments.To overcome the mindset that drives a man or woman to commit an offense against the word of God is #1, their lack of connection with God’s righteousness. Being connected to God is like a girl or boy who falls in love, or love at first sight, the type of love that is unconditional.  Deuteronomy 5, which is what the Ten Commandments tell us. The key is recognizing the emotions that lead us to hurt others or to compromise them. When we understand what we are doing to one another, along with feeling the pain that we have sown, we often find that we have choices presented to us for change.

Like Moses in the wilderness, I am sure through numerous encounters while running for his life; he may have experienced fear like the Egyptian he killed experienced at the time of death. What is at the root of murder? A mixture of emotions such as rage, anger, disparity, bondage, lack, and confusion; these emotions are manifested causing one to commit the act of murder and other heinous crimes.

Rage and anger, in addition to the other emotions mentioned above have a way of funneling up when entertained to long. These emotions are called from the dark side of man which instigates and stimulates unlawful circumstances and violence. Our position is to recognize the power of choice within ourselves, which means think before reacting in any situation.  Our other choice is responsible acts towards life. Thirdly, we must truly ask ourselves “what would Jesus do”?

When we look at Moses’ life, he was not poor in his earlier life, and he definitely was not poor when he came into his latter years. Moses was created with poise and excellence that directed him to understand, later on in the story that he was created as God’s ‘handyman’.  He was to be a vessel honoring the work of God.

The analogy of this story is simply for those who read this to understand within you; there is greatness.  God has not created one person greater than the other. What makes the difference in life are the choices and decisions we make. Young people; if we choose to follow gang members we will fail. Grown-ups in adulterous situations; rather than keeping the covenant, again, we will fail every time. Along with keeping the covenant, if a person has not received Jesus Christ, they will find themselves as the children of Israel ‘wandering in the wilderness as a lost soul.

Moses put the covenant into effect, but Jesus Christ is the breath of life that makes the covenant of God awaken in our hearts and souls. If you are not saved today, go to Romans 10:9-10 and read the words that give you the confession of Christ, and we will celebrate you, having become a new sister or brother in Christ. Moments of motivation and inspiration

Serious attack!!!
I remember the days I allowed deception to lead me in my thoughts also leading me to practice wickedness never realizing that the same wickedness I entertained would become the very wicked thoughts that would bring me to a season of conscious falling.
What I mean is because I thought and lived lower leveled thoughts my mind would spiral taking me on a spiritual journey into lower levels of thinking ultimately leading me to have a nervous break down. At the time I felt I would not make it physically, but something on the inside of me wouldn’t allow me to loose faith. I felt as if I was waiting on a supernatural intervention to come and rescue me and it eventually did.
The horrific circumstances began in my dreams. I would dream I was in an ocean of water, treading water with my head barely above water. These dreams were repetitive while in my life I was truly suffering. I went to work everyday but could barely take care of my children emotionally. The Bible became my best friend, I really felt it was my life line.
After the repetitive dreams of being out in no mans land in the water, I began dreaming of a light boat coming out and saving me… Someone threw me a life tube, which really was a life line to save my life. The boat then took me back to shore.
As I began to leave the boat there was a guide with me, I believe the spirit of The Lord. I begin to see people I knew but there was no conversation between us, we were in passing as two people walking down a hallway in different directions.
I would look and say I know her or him, but the feeling of that season with these people rang well that it was over.
What brought this break down on?
1 Samuel 15:23
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
This scripture says it all, I had been under spiritual attack but all because of my own rebellion. My rebellion to follow the word of The Lord as it is written. Rebellion to believe the gift and blessing God created me to be. Rebellion to live according to the standard of Gods will.
In this nervous break down I found myself set up! I found myself unable to control my life any longer and the control I said in the past I had given to God, truly being released to God. Day by day i grew stronger in reverence and fearing The Lord. I knew it was God supernaturally saving me, many people are on medications and sometimes committed to mental institutions for what I had experienced… But God!
I was sinking deep in sin,
Far from the peaceful shore,
Very deeply stained within,
Sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the sea
Heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me,
Now safe am I.
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help,
Love lifted me.
2 all my heart to Him I give,
Ever to Him I’ll cling,
In His blessed presence live,
Ever His praises sing.
Love so mighty and so true
Merits my soul’s best songs;
Faithful, loving service, too,
To Him belongs.
3 Souls in danger, look above,
Jesus completely saves;
He will lift you by His love
Out of the angry waves.
He’s the Master of the sea,
Billows His will obey;
He your Savior wants to be—
Be saved today.
God bless!
Hallelujah he saved me!
