Doubting Thomas is always trying to figure things out blocking his blessings, because of intellectual thinking. When God knows how things are going to work out. God said it in His word: Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Reflection

Good morning and afternoon,Reflection today serious thoughts and contemplation, thoughts that lead to the past or future declarations. Thoughts of the present saying do I move forward or do I remain the same?


But then there is the mirror we look in that reflects our image daily. The image could be a person were in contact with often or even someone we live with who mirrors characteristics of ourselves. We look at them and judge them saying what changes they need to make yet never seeing the character faults of ourselves and the fact that we found something in another that we feel needs to be changed.

Strangers to ourselves we remain, divided an lost subconsciously to our own truth denying the changes and the power of God that has beckoned us into this earth realm to attain all that His dynamic image ordained.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

The Parable of the Talents

Matthew14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants[a] and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents,[b] to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.[c] You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that placethere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

 

Communication and instruction are important!!

The blessing comes through Holy Spirit led instruction. Listening and following directions is key to receiving. Listening demonstrates our ability to receive communication and effectively follow through with what’s given to receive what were working toward. Listening opens the door to healthy relationships as well as blessings. Isaac blesses Jacob after giving him guidance on what type of woman to marry. How many of us have missed God in this area? Do we listen or not listen to instructions? Are we developing children who take on rebellion as Esau or Jacob who received guidance and the blessings?

This is the manner of receiving …

Genesis 28:1-4 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan

2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother’s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughers of Laban thy mother’s brother.

3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;

4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
