Rejecting yourself~

Rejecting yourself~Gifts are a blessing when there given to us. However there are times we are given things we unconsciously do not receive or we modestly tell the person giving the gift “no thank you” because of false humility. Now I’m not saying that everyone is like this, rejecting gifts “and by the way remember were speaking material gifts right now to set the stage in the next paragraph to focus on spiritual gifts”. Some people are haughty considering no one but themselves taking everything they can never considering to give. 


My focus however is on the inner gifts (spiritual) helping those sincere about Gods gifts and their unfoldment. Focus for a moment on Gods gift within you and if your actively using it? Focus on the fact the gift lives within you… Then tell yourself Iam the gift! I am the gift that God sent to the world! Take ownership and realize you are, we are gifts sent from God! Our physical bodies have nothing to do with the gift but being used as vehicle to assist the gift. The physical assisting the spiritual means that the spiritual becomes more dominant than the physical if we allow it.

As we focus on the gift more than it making room for us we become aware of ourselves and the need to use it. Many issues we face become eliminated, because we’re using and being who we were sent to be… A gift!

Sinking

Sinking
Matthew 14:30. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”


When we take our eyes off God, we become aware that everything is closing in on us. All of our problems, our fears, our worries and insecurities, they surround us, suffocatingly close. Slowly, we begin to sink and in our panic, we lose focus on what and whom is most important. The word says that we are supposed to cast all of our cares and burdens on Him, because He cares for US!   

Psalm 55:22. Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Don’t get so distracted by what is around you, that you take your eyes off God and allow yourself to sink. Some problems we create and bring on ourselves, when all we had to do was keep our eyes trained on Him.  

How wonderful it is to know that the Lord is there for us! He is our life raft, our protector and provider. There is nothing that He can’t do!

Romans 8:35-37 (NIV)

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Prayer call

Prayer Call for Healing
Yesterday I received word that a childhood friend is in the ICU with an aneurysm in his brain the size of a grape. They can’t find the source of the bleed, so he is being kept sedated to keep his bp stable. I also received word that my favorite uncle, who has been fighting cancer the last 2 years, was told that he will be on chemotherapy the rest of his life and that he won’t last long if he were to stop the treatments. I am also lifting in prayer a few others that are sick or were given a troubling diagnosis, recently. We all know that God is a healer and that He always has the final say.  
With each phone call or text of receiving this news, I felt a powerful need for prayer welling up inside of me, along with this scripture: 


Ezekiel 16:6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.
I put my loved ones and friends name into the scripture and prayed this over them, in the name of Jesus! Please join me in lifting our people up in prayer and in Jesus’ mighty name, we command healing over all ailments, sickness and disease that is troubling their bodies! We intercede and ask for favor and mercy, for the pain they are going through! Father God, we call upon your love and light and that every person that is ailing is immediately filled with your holy spirit that provides peace and comfort beyond words. We put all this into your hands, oh God, and we ask that Your will be done! In Jesus name, Amen!
Romans 8:1-2 & 6. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

People prove they can’t go with you…

Challenges call us to encouragement, they also make changes in our associations if we pay attention. I mean have you helped people and they turn on you because of a situation that could be God prompting elevation? Read 1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. Isn’t it something when you have lead a people into a place of victory, or even been a blessing in their lives, but challenging or distressing times meet you after the victory and the peoples character change toward you? The question we must ask is have they always been the same, yet hiding the truth concerning they’re inner workings? What I mean is have you had people pretend they were loyal because they were in a winning position with you and then when hardships came, they bailed out on you or even the begin talking with others about you betraying your trust. The scripture expose at least the two areas betrayal and disloyalty concerning David. The families being taken exposes the heart and intention of his followers as their minds changes concerning hurting him. We have all experienced betrayals in some way, as well as double minded people, but the key to this is understanding how to overcome these personalities. 

  
Many would argue and add more conflict to the issues at hand, but Being like David is what we want to demonstrate. We want to make inquiring of the Lord to be the first thing we do in all situations. Inquire of relationships, inquire of employment, inquire of car purchase, housing, furniture, and friendships. Why because God knows best and when the challenge or test comes we can know without a shadow of a doubt that God has been our guide through it all. But when we make our own choices we find ourselves in a mess like the guys who dishonored David. 

David inquired of the Lord and went right back into battle to get those things the amalikites had taken. Have you been in a war that you won recently and went home to find that their was more fighting to do? Have you accepted that fighting the good faith fight is what we do as Christians? Don’t let your flesh ware you down emotionally nor with pride. Inquire of the Lord because He has the sure fire way! In Jesus name have a great day!

Morning motivation and inspirations

Many people struggle with acceptance in one way or another, but when you accept Christ in your life your accepted by the one who matters the most!
Our ACCEPTANCE of Christ will in our lives opens us up to the acceptance and receptivity of the Beloved along with the benefits of being His child.
Romans 14:8
For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
