Rejection and division…
Luke 11:15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”16 Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven. 17 But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, (countries and land as we see happening) and a house divided against a house falls. 18 Jesus went on to say, If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub.
Throughout life the word rejection rings in the ear of the gifted. Many people who brought advancement for the world were rejected like Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and even Oprah Winfrey. However we seek to understand the Kingdom mindset and our spiritual value and gifting for the eternal purpose of our souls rather than following the worlds way. As we look and read this scripture we see the rejection of Christ. We find people rejecting and persecuting Christ for the transformation experiences He was able to give to the mute.
But moving forward we get to the meat of His teaching. Jesus gives them all food for thought as he tells them a house divided can not stand. Jesus ask, the people how indeed his work could be of the devil when his work brought change and restoration in an individual’s life. The other point that Jesus gives is the understanding that if a house is divided, the house has been infiltrated with the enemies power. He exposes the fact that division in a house hold is a home the enemy has begin to set up camp. The people in the house are all impacted finding no good in one another, when then this is far from Gods truth. Arguments and dissension become a pattern and cycles continue. The house begins to take on the form of desolation and ruin soon, because those who live in the house have forgotten about the love of God. And the practices of Christ. The devil has had its way.
Division -the action of separating something into parts, or the process of being separated, relationships, family, work environments, Churches, finances, and friendships etc. Division of mindsets and purpose.
The matter of Christ exposing division is not to further progress the works of the enemy but to destroy division by offering the invitation of His love, His peace, His restoration, His Healing, and the breakthrough power in prayer and unity through the Holy Spirit. Christ did not come to any of us that we would continue in strife by any cause or reason. Nor did we confess and accept Him as our savior to continue in our old corrupted ways. Corruption is rejection of Christ as well as the teaching of Christ. We all came to Him because we desired change in our lives just as the mute man that was healed.
We come into agreement praying Father,
Forgives us of any sins known and unknown. We surrender ourselves totally to you. Wash us and cleanse us. Continue to make us whole by the blood of lamb. Father heal and restore anything that is not of you in me, my body, my home, families, my work environment, finances, and our Churches. Let love flow in through me that the crooked ways may be made straight. Give me strength over my flesh to walk in the Spirit of truth that I am found acceptable in your sight and that my light may shine continuously that I may be used for your Glory! In Jesus name we claim it and receive it! Amen
