Good Morning All,
The word of the lord says. He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired haven. Psalms 107:29-30
They say the calm is before the storm. The Cambridge Dictionary defines. ” A quiet or peaceful period before a period during which there is great activity, argument, or difficulty. When we realized who causes and/or allows the storms we can find peace from within and trust that God does everything according to his perfect plan and for our divine purpose.
When we think of Strength we never give thought to what we have to go through to build it. It’s amazing that we as human beings view ourselves at times of adversity as weak and unable to handle the transgressions that come our way. This spiritual transformation is on that I marvel at. It’s the very core of how God exemplifies his power to and through us. This is the one stable factor in our lives that we have and we get renewed strength. It’s as if he knew we would need renewed mercies and strength which tie into one another. It takes courage to face what you’ve done, look it square in the eye, resolve it and thank God for the grace that you were able to get through it. Have you faced anything today that you thought was simply unbearable? Have you not been able to look at yourself in the mirror or come to terms with what you are walking through or have walked through? Consider the strength of the eagle, its genetic makeup. Our creator himself was aware that we could get exhausted with daily obstacles that come our way. Thank God for the renewal of his strength that comes from waiting on the Lord.
Isaiah 40:28-31English Standard Version (ESV)
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
