Crippled minds dwell

Good morning,  1 Samuel 30 David has won a battle, but returns to the camp with his men to find that their wives and children have been taken. David and the men begin to experience worry and outrage.

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
8 And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
What has the enemy taken from you that has your attention? Have you consulted God and began to study to find the solution to the challenge your facing? Or are you still blaming the enemy for taking your things?

Christians and those who God chase must realize that dwelling on the challenge will only add more challenges. Change your focus and learn how to overcome the challenge. Study the situation, the challenge came our way because we’re able to obtain the solution. Study empowers one with knowledge, which is why David inquired to the Lord. Examples of over coming challenges are if your having relationship challenges learn what caused the problem. If your having financial challenges study budgeting and tithing. Whatever you’re challenged with has a solution, the key is desiring to grow beyond it and really wanting to be done with the thing. God bless you and have a great day! In Jesus Name Amen

BIBLICAL NUMERICAL PARALLELS and ASSOCIATIONS (By Twanda Harvey)

BIBLICAL NUMERICAL PARALLELS and ASSOCIATIONS

“For as Jonas (Jonah) was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12: 40)…

When studying the bible, God shows us how numerical connotations and references correlate warnings, lessons, blessings, and confirmations for those who seek the truth in His Word from the lies told in this world. For the sake of this writing, the topic noted will pertain to the subject of “numerical confirmation in verses” This shows us how supremely brilliant and intelligent our Father is. It also isn’t apparently known to a lot of professing Christians that numerical associations can be seen throughout the bible.

numbers

A few years ago, I began my journey to make a commitment to understand God’s Word in earnest, and researched many topics. In this I pray to Father for His guidance when explaining the following…

In allowing His children to take heed to warnings, obtain blessings, and cross reference confirmations, Father allows us to follow and cross-reference certain numerical indications. We are then able to understand our studies better.

I must confess that after reading the book of Jonah (a relatively short book) I had a lot of questions. The Holy Spirit led me to believe that this relatively short book has more to learn in it than I was able to comprehend. I was led to this site… (http://www.blessedcause.org/ble…/the%20sign%20of%20jonah.htm) then I referenced back to the bible. This is what I have learned concerning Matthew 12:40…

Jesus has referenced His death with Jonah being in the belly of the whale ‘three days’ and made this correlation of His 3 days in the earth. I mentioned this because of the following…

“If today is good Friday, the day that Jesus was crucified and died, then Saturday would be one day in the tomb, and Sunday would be day two. “Why that would make Monday day three, “wouldn’t it?” I guess it all depends on how you count your days. For instance, in biblical times, a day began with the onset of night or, sundown (the appearance of the stars) followed by the morning (which technically begins with the appearance of the North Star). According to some Jewish teachers, night and morning begin with sunset and sunrise respectively. For that is how it is described in Genesis 1:5.
For this reason, the Sabbath begins on Friday at sundown and ends with the appearance of the stars on Saturday (sundown). The same is true for the major holidays such as Passover.

PASSOVER vs. EASTER
The point is, if we count the days according to the biblical definition of a day, Easter Sunday is not the day Jesus resurrected from the dead (nor is Sunday the Sabbath Day of rest that God sanctified and told us to keep holy (~see exodus 20:8-11). And for many years I believed this lie! Have you ever questioned; “What does a bunny, colorful eggs, and hiding them have to do with Jesus’ resurrection? “It’s harmless as long as you worship Christ with this celebration” you say? …Read What Paul said to the Church of God at Corinth in 2 Corinthians 11:3-4…

1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Are we putting up with the Easter holiday and keeping it holy?

If you are one that continues to celebrate man’s commercialized holidays, ask Father to help you take the blindfolds off and commit yourself to really studying His Truth. You will be forever transformed. “So grab a cup of tea and a sandwich…then do your own research… its deep.”

~Have a blessed Passover Saints! (Passover starts “sundown” today 4/3/15, immediately followed by the “Feasts unleavened bread” 4/4/15 – 4/10/15)

Moments of motivation

Courage = Purpose
Courage when pursuing purpose is a key word to focus on, for the enemy within and without would have us all distracted in the havoc and turmoil it illuminates. We must be wise enough to continue prayer and interceding through the Holy Spirit at all times. As well as looking unto Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our destiny. Matt. 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Amen God Bless!
